New chamber music work based on the life of Ona Judge, an enslaved woman who escaped from the Philadelphia household of George and Martha Washington in 1796. To be performed by Arcana New Music Ensemble with historical commentary provided collaboratively by students from Philadelphia’s Saul High School.
New work for trumpet and piano, commissioned by Ivano Ascari.
